Hey Invisible Gardener,
Please read the "Read me before you post"

We don't offer support unless you take the time to upload an avatar

We also don't support IE, thats as worthless as a turd in a sock.

However your problem is not IE or PC related, your site has a ton of issues that are independant of that.

Upload an image of you would like to know more,

1. I tried to upload an avatar... didnt work?
2. tried the rubber ducky.. still no luck.
you say I can't participate without an avatar so what do I do now?
3. I get this This profile does not exist or is no longer available.??
4. Great that "We also don't support IE, thats as worthless as a turd in a sock". I have so real good use for a turd in a sock but I would like it to work in IE.
5. However your problem is not IE or PC related, your site has a ton of issues that are independent of that.

Good to know out avatar system is having issues. I will go look at that.

If you hit your site with Firebug (website debugger for FireFox) you will see you have a module or component by "dj4" that is throwing three errors before the moolet ever gets to have a chance"

I so I would look at the dj4 errors and fix them first as they seem to get nasty right off the bat.

Then you are loading a two mootools _script_s when you really should only be loading one. The second load will wipe out function set up and applied to the first.

Also the first mootools _script_ that loads is a mootools 1.0 file, the second is the moolet _script_ that is a 1.1 file.

Moolets require a website template running at least mootools 1.1 and a _script_ that is fully packed (which we supplied). For packing info visit mootools.com

I would turn off the smooth gallery and see if the moolet works. If it works correctly then I would simply not put it on the same page as that module as it has a 1.0 file seen in your source code here"

modules/pd_smoothgallery/mootools.js

Our file is
modules/mod_moolet_online/mootools.v1.11.js

note the 1.1, non numbers usually means a mootools 1.0 or less

As far as IE you need would need to spend some hours fiddling with your CSS as all web developer have to do for sites that support internet destroyer.

Hope that helps

Brian,

First let me say that what you've done is really cool. It is this type of thinking outside the box that we need more of. Good job!

I also agree with you 100% on Internet Exploder. It is a turd in a sock!

The only problem with this is, that many of us try to build our sites as cross-browser as possible.
I suggest using Firefox as the only browser, but the rest of the world may not think so. Here in lies the problem.

I know it is sad that there are people out there that actually use IE, but never the less it is true.
That's the only reason why we work so hard to make our sites cross-browser compatible. If it weren't for IE, I don't think there would be any browser issues.

With this being said, I would think that the mind of a person, such as yourself, being able to think outside the box and create such a great module, would be willing to make it the best module they could.

I know it's not your fault that the rest of the world wants to use a turd in a sock for a web browser. I just think that what you have here is so good, that it really sucks that you would not even try to perfect it for use in as many browsers as you could.
That's not thinking outside the box.

Sorry. I do not want to offend anyone, especially you.
I'm just saying that your module would be 100% if you made it work for as many browsers as possible.

I'm not sure about everyone else, but I can't use these modules if it's not compatible with IE. That's not my choice, it is just a cold reality.

Anyway, that's just my two cents and thanks again for your efforts. You are almost there. Keep it up and these modules will become some of the best.
