recently i installed the moolets modules, the total users and online users... and they work fine ...


but after a time i realised that my other module... front page slide module doesn't work now when the moolet modules are published...
then a realised it is becouse the front page slide show module also uses mootols for sliding the news a have and when i turn the mootools of in slide show it works... but then the slides are not changing...

so i can have only one of them... but actually i want to have both of them...

does anyone know is there a posibilit to fix this isue??

Please read the "Read me before you post" first. You will see that you need to upload an avatar for us to take the time to go debug your site.

I imagine without looking at it you could benifit from reading some posts here about only having on mootools file.

All modules should share the same file, if you turn two on you will wipe out some functions.

I would use the one we supplied as it is a fully packed 1.1 file,

if you slide show is very old and uses a 1.0 file then you can not have it and the moolet on the same page. I would get an updated slide shoe mod that runs on 1.1 even thought 1.2 is really the latest these days

actually, the module slide show is a new one... the version i have came out in begining of 2007 i think...

i read some info about it and it just says about mootols this:

but not whihc version...

actually in the slide show module... i can choose which Slideshow Engine to use...

moo.fx or mootools...

when i use mootools... and the moolets are published...there are no photod published under slide show, just loading all the time...

if i use moo.fx and moolets are published i see a photo in the slide show...but it doesn't slide, allways the same...

Mootools files are packed, like a suitcase full of functions. Most developer only pack the functions they need for thier module to run, therefore sometimes other modules do not work on thier _script_.

We supplied a "fully packed" mootools 1.1 file. This means it has every function possible. You want to add that to your template and remove ALL other mootools files. If there are still to files loading the moolet will not work. If you are using THEIR file we can not help you as we did not pack that file.

It's really that simple. Use the mootools.v1.11.js file we supplied and remove all others.
