We moved all the langauge vairables to read from the module control panel instead of trying to pull in a langauge file that is in a page that is being called in from AJAX. This is where the security stuff slams that app. This went well.

Then we try to write some code for the mySQL statements to do the data_base_ login without having to do the other file include of the joomla config file. This did not go well. So we are stuck at that moment and need to focus on client comments for the next day or two. We will try to resolve this by Friday or Saturday.

Sorry for the delay, this is a longstanding issue we would like to get behind us.
