Little request 1 Year ago
Hello, I have made this module work but there is a problem, I just need a simpler version, all the stats are already on a specific field of the board and they are duplicated with this module.

I have tried to other one the LITE but being non specific for FB and I dont have CB installed they dont work, they just dont show the avatar nor the name.

basically the only one that work with my setup is this one but there is to much stuff, I need just login name and avatar that show in a orizzontal position, is there any way to remove all the rest I cannot remove it from the module options.

thanks

Hello Brian, i messed up something and it does not work anymore at all, so I uninstalled it for now because even with the original .php file it was stuck on loading...

Now I will try to reinstall the module and see if it does work.

But to show you what I need the url is:

http://www.hobbymeteo.it/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=42

the moolet module need to be placed just under the website menu and before the forum in a horizzontal position with just the logged member name and they avatar not all the other infos that already present.
I managed to remove them but when I tryed to change the config to make it appear after the page loaded it started to not work anymore even if i reverted to the other option that used to work.

Thanks

I need the moolet in place to hit the page with "Firebug" to trace the DOM elements, without that trace I am waisting my time.

I can tell you this about your page right now. The moolet should NOT work at all.

1) check previous posts here. you need to get rid of the mootools 1.0 _script_ you have in your site as it is outdate and wipes out the mootools 1.1 functions needed for moolets

2) You can only have one mootools _script_ period. If you have multi modules that use mootools like you do, Put a fully packed 1.1 _script_ in the head of your template and turn off all the load _script_s in the modules. I suppied a packed 1.1.

3) If you hit your site with Firebug now you have four major _java_script__ errors that need fixed before you reload the moolet.

They are:
1) this.$events[type].keys has no properties

2) Fx has no properties

3) this.$events[type].keys has no properties (again)

4) this.$events[type].keys has no properties (again)

hope all that helps

Might take the time to load Firebug into Firefox for debugging your site, even if you do not use it as your regular browser.

All this needs fixed before I could fix the moolet.

I am going to reinstall the module now, hoping that uninstalling cleaned something.
I assure you it worked even with all the erors I was aware of them but I am not sure how to fix them as I dont know who cause it I have a lot of module and components in my website..

I think the previous mootol is used by the wb site menu or by the video plug in.

If you go in the home page you can see that your other moolet work in the upper left side of the page.
