No guests 1 Year, 1 Month ago
Hi, This is really a cool module, thanks.

My only problem is that it doesn't show the guests. Shows members all right. Am I missing something?

Thanks.

Can you check one setting for me that tells the moolet to either start on "Load" or "Domready". Can you change this to load and then I will go back and check again

thanks

That is very odd,
There user sessions are stored in a tabled called "jos_sessions". I have supplied a _link_ to a snapshot of that table for this site. If you see the entries that have no username and an ID of 0, that would be the visitors.

do you have anyway to view your table content and send a screenshot back?

Hi Brian,

I think this is what you wanted. I don't see any guests there either. Strange that is.

Btw, what is that application you are using for the db. I like it.

Thanks again.

Moment, image upload problem.

I dont see a picture attachment but if you are saying there are not guests in your jos_sessions table the problem is with your joomla and not the moolet or mootools. That table is part of your core system, I am just reading from it but look like there is nothing there for me to read. On that issue I would go to the joomla forums and do a search on missing visitor sessions and so on.

I am using cocoaMySQL for my data_base_ app. If is a mac OS X application that runs on my computer, not on my web server. If you are on a shared hosts some will and some will not give you remote DB access to use it.

http://cocoamysql.sourceforge.net/

hope that helps

brian
