I have found that to make the js load in IE7 i have to remove the _link_ to moolets.com in the last lines of mod_moolet_online.php

I also notice that when using IE7 the module see's the user login in but after that it doesnt track the users state. After X amount if time it sets the users as away even if the user is still moving about the site, or even logged out.

I have found that when using IE7 the module is not seeing when users have logged in therefore continues to display as tho no one is online.. However after a little time i found my avatar would show with (away) next to it. It wont change from that stage when i click on a _link_ in the site however. It seems to me as the module is not seeing users until after the away time has been exceeded EG: 300 secs at which time it will then display the avatar and away message.

Upon looking at the Moo's online of this site i always see many away users, these people are probably using IE.

pgkerr,
There is a statment in the FAQ's that we do not support IE, with the moolets,

However just on a side note the user tracking is part of Joomla and not our module, we just read from the Joomla sessions data_base_. This tells me that your joomla / server tracking is not seeing your IE visitors or users, which has nothing to do with moolets.

this may shed a little light on as to why we do not support the Evil Empire or Internet Destoyer.

I believe that the server and joomla are tracking the users ok as all other user tracking modules work perfectly. I would believe if the server or joomla was not tracking then they would not work. Therefore i am led to believe that there is some part of teh _script_ing that IE wont reconize. Hard to as yet what it is and the mootoolsv1.11.js seems to be encrypted when open in dreamweaver ?
