Not sure there is a board for the recent visitors module yet, but thought it appropriate to post here, as I believe I have a similar issue as the person in thsi thread.

OK, so the module loads great - always a good start

Users with avatars show in the module - great !

Pending images show in the module - even better !

Here's the but (and there's always one), users with no avatar don't show i.e it doesn't pick up the nophoto.jpg in the specified area.

Checked the path, permissions etc... all ok. So I pointed the 'no avatar' parameter in the module to a completely different area and image file. Again no show. The minute you give the users an avatar it does show.

I'm no coder but it would point to a path issue if the other two types of avatar 'pending & path' show on the site.

My site is on a local machine at the moment, if needs be I can upload it for you to see.

One last thing, not related to the image 'no show' (I think), but on checking the site with firefox developer browser there are several errors, as follows:

oooo, I am pooped. I will check this out in the morning. I will tell you that it was my intention that if you did not have an avatar you are not allowed on the block, as I am tired of all the empty faces on this site and others.

I guess I could add a switch for other to turn that on. I would be like me to not have that feature but left the path code in the settings.

Know the feeling well.. it's 02:30 here and I'm still at it... body clock screwed !

I can see your point, and I am probably as guilty as the next man for not uploading a picture !

I guess though in a true users _style_ site (not a techy site like this) it would hopefully encourage users to upload their images.. well that's my thinking.

Else I guess if everyone didn't have an avatar then this module (as you are planning it) could make it look like there weren't that many visitors to the site.

I'm probably talking out of my **** but then it is late and I am seeing two of everything... time to switch off I guess !
