Hello,
I went to the site but the moolet was not in the source code so it has not been enabled.

1) I can tell you this, you allready have three mootools _script_s loading in your site, when you should only have one. The functions from one _script_ can wipe out another. I would advise you add one to your template and turn off each additional one that three modules are inserting.

2) The three exisisting modules are using motools.js and mootools.1.0.js which are both very outdated and would keep the moolet from running. To use the moolet you would want to add the mootools 1.1 _script_ included, which will probably kill your outdated modules.

hope that helps.

I am not sure what you mean..it sounds like you are saying that three modules on my site are running the motool.js and mootools.1.0.js, but I should add the mootools.1.0.js _script_ to my template file..I am understanding you correctly...thanks

well let me try again, sorry.

With the moolets you have the option to turn off the "mootools.v1.11.js" file. This is not because you don't need it, but becuase you only need one mootools file for your whole site. So if you have three moolets you could turn on the _script_ load for moolet 1 and off for moolets 2 and 3. Since the _script_ is loaded in the page it is there already for all to use.

however I can no speak for your other modules. Three are loading a mootools file. I dont know if they were kind enough to put in an on off switch for the _script_ insert like I did.

What I do and I think you got this part is I turn off the mootools _script_ load for all my modules and components. then I just hard code the mootools into my website template, since most newer templates allready have it there anyway. You can view source on this site to see.

However for the moolet to work you need to load the mootools.v1.11.js that I included as it has all the mootools functions (they are packed per needs). If you have a not fully packed mootools.v1.11.js then it may not work. And if you load a mootools.v1.0.js or mootools.js the mooolets will not work.

You might just for a quick try turn on the mootools _script_ in the moolet admin and see if it runs.

If so do all the other changes.

brian

I would just turn the moolet js file on, then if the moolet works, yes I would hard code that into your index.htm file in the head.

I want back to the site but the moolet was gone so I can not check on the loading issue
