time offset & firefox 1 Year, 2 Months ago
Hi, I'm trying your total users ajax module and I found it really neat! Thanks.
I have a problem with the time offset. I mean that when today's registering users are counted and showed up it considers "today" counter without time offset.
For example, I've my hosting in US and I'm in Europe with +8 h offset.
The result is at 7.59 am "registered today 28" and at 8.01 "registered today 0".
If I well remember the value should be in the var $offset but I prefer to ask and report this minor bug.
Could you help me on that?

Furthermore, i checked your mods with Opera and IE 7 and they work great but with FF (last version) they try loading (with the rotating arrows) and then they disappear without working.
No errors are showed up. Even in the error console.

Could you help me?

Thanks in advance.

A.

Hi all.

I fixed Time offset with a quick & dirty hack into the php (because nothing could be done into the hosting shared db servers).

I changed curdate() function with now() and a manual displacement using add_date(now(), n HOUR) where n is your time zone offset.

It works

I still have the problem that with firefox...

Thanks for your time.

Idont know what it up with your firefox issue. I was working for me when I went there. Was it firefox on a PC maybe?

It might be a good idea to build your time code in with the ability to set value "n" in the admin tool for the offset.

thanks for coming up with that!
