Mike,
I got lost along the way on this thread myself.

These modules are simply not going to work on all servers. I run linux / apache but have a dedicated server where I have total control. Shared hosts or windows hosts may not always cut it for Mootools + Ajax.

In your modules folder there should be the uploaded module file:
mod_moolet_online.php

on line 83 is the motools-ajax _java_script__ file insert.

Code: :

 echo '<script src="/modules/mod_moolet_online/js/mootools.v1.11.js" type="text/_javascript_"></script>' "_CRLF_";

Might take the the line out of the PHP and put it in the head of your template.
Code: :

 <script src="/modules/mod_moolet_online/js/mootools.v1.11.js" type="text/_javascript_"></script>

IF that does not work you can post or private email me the URL of where you are settig this up and I will look at your server and see whats up

Hello Brian,

Unfortunately I couldn't get it work. I am sure my domain is hosted on a linux server, and my _script_ settings are correct. The thing is, I tried to remove other mootools.js file and use your mootools, but it didn't work.

I think the problem is elsewhere. Probably because of the users. I had a SMF - Joomla bridge installed, which I removed some days ago, but I think there are some problems with the users there. I've got 1400 members, and maybe it couldn't get the user data from there, although I've syncronized the list with Community Bulider.

Although it's a great module, I cannot use it.

Seems to be a few folks in the same boat. check back next Sunday. I am going to do a lite version that does not have the user image or mootools effects. That version will work without community builder and need less from the mootools file and server.

Thanks for trying however!

Hello Brian,

I am still trying it out, but without luck. Actually my demo site is a copy of a main site, and I am trying the components and templates on my demo site.

I removed all my users. I syncronized them with CB. After that I updated all my mootools files, I mean both the mootols.js files in my template and in your module are the same.

Apart from that, I turned off all animation effects.

I really don't know what to do next. The fact is, I even don't know where the problem is. Is it the mootools file or members?

I tried other templates too.

If you want to try, you can login to the site with user/pass: moolet/moolet

Thank you very much.

If it won't work, I am going to remove all site and install again.

PS: I realized that I opened this thread in the wrong place. It should be at the Moo's Online thread.
