Moolet don't load anything 10 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Hi,

I've installed the Moolet Fireboard in my Joomla v1.0.13 with FB v1.3, but nothing apears in the module only the tittle.

I've copied the mootools 1.1 in my template directory (and rename the file to mootools.js), but no changes.

My site www.ytudequieneres.com (the Moolet it's the first in the right side).

Thanks in advance,

damuro

Hello,
Three things.
1) you have two copies of the mootools file loading in your template, that will not work. Dont rename the 1.1 to mootools.js as that means 1.0 nd the moolet will not work on 1.0. Copy the file into your template and leave the name as it was, changing the name in the template path, then turn off the opy you have loading in the moolet total users.

2) Moolet total users requires community builder which does not seem to be installed in your site:

http://www.ytudequieneres.com/components/com_comprofiler

So delete that module all together.

3) The fireboard module only runs a vertical area, I dont see it at all so I am assuming you published in a horizontal module area. It normally also requires commuity builder but their is a switch you can turn that off and read form Fireboard. I would also check on all that.

hope that helps

Thank you for your help.
I made the changes but nothing changes.

1) Rename the mootools.js to mootools.v1.11.js and changing te name in the template path.

2) Delete the Moolet Total Users

3) I set the options of fireboard module to:
* Include Mootools JS File = No
* Mootools Dom Event = domready
* Mootools Wait = Yes
* Slide Vertical or Horizontal = Vertical
* Use Get or Post = Mootools Ajax get
* Avatar Pulled From = Fireboard
* Item format = Image + Username
* Name _link_ to = Fireboard profile
* Order users by = Name

NOTE: The module is the first right side module named "Usuarios del FORO"

Thanks

I believe the moolet is working or starting to work but there is something about your template that is not letting the module class dynamically expand

I would try:
1) turning off the moolet effects off if there is an option for that moolet

2) Then I would open this css file and try fiddling with it, maybe add a height: 300px; and see if that helps force it open

add to this call
moolet_online_fb_v__frame_

this _style_
height: 300px

on this file:
modules/mod_moolet_online_fb/moolet_online_fb_css.css

I've been experiencing some issues with this one too. I publish the module and it goes through the loading process, but ends up displaying nothing. Any suggestions?
I use siteground hosting and everything else is pretty straight forward.

I had the same problem. When I was messing around with this, I found that if you changed the Mootools Dom Event in the admin to domready instead of load, the mod will show and load correctly. At least it did for me. Let me know if it worked for you
