Brian:

I am totally Moo for Moolets. I love the way they look and they work great (I just have to work out my bugs!) Thanks for all the support and kudos for my site. Here's where I stand now...

1. I changed Recent Visitors to "last login" as you suggested.

2. I installed the Fireboard Moolet. It's in place, but not working yet. That seems to tie into the Mootools 1.0 file (mootools.js) that you mentioned. I don't think I physcially downloaded this myself. However, I remembered seeing Mootools mentioned before, so checked it out. I have the Avatar Matrix Module and in the parameters, it is pulling from the above file.

I know enough to be dangerous, but not enough to be able to fix it without clear, directions. Do I need to delete the js file and if I do, will that affect the Avatar module?

Here's the part I am not clear on:

"I would turn off the mootools _script_ in the moolet and move it to the template. Then I would replace the line of code in the template to use the update version. Then both your template and moolet are on the same page."

I now have 3 moolets (the fireboard one, the recent visitors, and moos online. Which moolet am I turning off the _script_ in? When you say "turn it off" are you referring to the "Include Mootools JS File" in the mootools Parameters directly under the JS file path? And is the path what you want me to replace?

If you can clear that up, I should be able to get mooing.

Jamie

Update...

I don't know if this is what I was supposed to do, but, ah, well, I learn a lot by twiddling... so I dug around in the Avatar matrix folder and deleted the older verson mootools, then told the Avatar module to go get it from the other folder instead.

But I don't know what else I'm supposed to do. It's still not working.

I think you got this backwards. The mootools.1.1.js that came with the moolet is the correct file and the latest file. The mootools.js that came with your template is way outdated.'

1) never delete a file, especally for a test!, just back it up. I will give you better isnstructions on saturday as I have a full load today...

thank
