I am having the same problem - see http://www.polkadotbanner.com - the Recent Visitors is on the home page and on the forum. The Moo's Online works perfect, but I would rather have the avatars stick around awhile after users sign off. I tried just about every option I could think of, still has the same problem. Oddly, on the home page, it tries to load then disappears, but on the forum, it stays visible and just keeps loading. Otherwise, is a great module, so I hope I can get it to work!

Jamie,
1) As far as the user staying after they log out with the current way Joomla handles log in session I can not do that. Once a user logs out there session Id id deleted from the data_base_ instantly so they are no longer there for me to read this data. I would have to copy the data or store the data in array, which is all doable but would take far more work then I want to put into an application I am giving away.

2) The whos online for the forum works differently. The Fireboard forum application is allready storing the data for me after a user logs out. So you will see users stay up longer there. You may want to install that one to for just that page

3) As far as the moolet not working on that page it really should not be working at all on your site. Your template is loading a mootools 1.0 file (mootools.js) which is outdated and conflicts with the mootools 1.1 included with the moolet. YOu an not run both at the same time, which you are and is working on the home page but is breaking on the Forum like it actually should be doing everywhere.

I would turn off the mootools _script_ in the moolet and move it to the template. Then I would replace the line of code in the template to use the update version. Then both your template and moolet are on the same page.

This may be jibberish if you are a non coder but is actually easy to do.

Let me know if need help with that

nice site!

Update,
I just realized:

1) you may want to use the Moolet Recent Visitors Module instead as users going leave that pallet. For that on I just check the last login time instead of the session time. So users stay there forever until they get pushed off by more recent logins

2) Thinking about a way to merge that feature with the moolet who's online module so when the pallet is low on members to grab them from the login instead. This may be doable. I will take a look.
