I think this module interesting but is there any facility that make each user to send instant message like ym and msn? so each other can see who is online and directly send message. thanks

I have been in a conversation with Brian where that has been discussed. There are some concerns that it could open the doors to spammers that will create an account and then ping to to sell you dildo's or something not related to moolets. Dillets I guess.

Protection from such would require adding some fields to community builder for creating better permission to manage that and so on.

I would say it is probably coming but maybe a bit down the line.

If you happen to see any joomla module that is doing a one on one and not a one on admin IM please send us a _link_ as that could save some of the brain time with the safegaurd issues,

I havent seen any instant messagers in joomla. but i saw some that used ym and msn. But there are some lie chat for joomla. Any different between IM and live chat if you see from the security? if someone could make a live chat , IM messager should be ok.But I dont know becaue i am not good at programming and I dont know much about computer. It is only my commond user logic thinking.
